Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026.
This policy explains how Praxis Legal Inc. (“Praxis”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit runpraxis.ai, join our early-access waitlist, or use the Praxis service. Praxis is the AI that runs a law firm’s client journey, from intake and onboarding to client communication and billing, while the firm’s lawyers supervise and approve.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers 2 groups of people:
Website visitors, people who join the waitlist, and people who contact us. For this information, Praxis decides how it is used.
Law firms that use the Praxis service, and the clients and prospective clients of those firms. For this information, the law firm decides how it is used, and Praxis processes it on the firm’s behalf, as described in “Data we process for law firms” below.
Information we collect on our website
Waitlist: your email address and the date you signed up.
ROI calculator: your email address and your firm’s name, when you download a business case.
Messages you send us: your name, your email address, and anything you choose to include.
Usage information: aggregated information about how the website is used, such as pages visited, referring websites and approximate location, collected by our website host.
We may add publicly available professional information about you, such as your job title, firm and work contact details, from business data providers, so we can understand who is interested in Praxis and follow up in a relevant way.
How we use it
To invite you when an early-access spot opens, and to send occasional product updates.
To reply to your messages and arrange the calls you request.
To understand who is interested in Praxis and to improve our website and product.
To keep our website secure and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Data we process for law firms
A law firm that uses Praxis may upload or connect information about its clients and prospective clients, such as contact details, intake answers, documents, matter information and messages (“Customer Data”). The firm owns its Customer Data. We process it only to provide the service, under our agreement with the firm and on its instructions.
We do not use Customer Data to train or fine-tune AI models used for any other customer.
We use AI models only under zero data retention terms: the AI model provider does not store Customer Data, prompts or outputs after processing, and does not use them to train its models.
Customer Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, logically separated from other customers’ data, and hosted in the United States.
Agents, workflows and playbooks built from a firm’s instructions belong to that firm and are never provided to another customer.
When a firm’s agreement ends, we make its Customer Data available for export for 30 days, then delete it from our production systems, subject to routine backup cycles and legal retention requirements.
We also collect technical information about how the service performs and is used, to maintain and improve it. We share this information only in aggregated, de-identified form.
If you are a client of a law firm that uses Praxis, please contact that firm with any request about your information. We will help the firm respond.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, workflow processing, AI model inference and research. They process personal information only on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and in the United States. Customers can request our current list of subprocessors at founders@runpraxis.ai.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of unauthorized access to Customer Data, we notify the affected law firm within 72 hours.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and website contact information for as long as it serves the purposes above, and delete it sooner if you ask us to. We keep Customer Data for the term of the firm’s agreement, as described above.
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Our website host measures basic, aggregated usage so we can see how the site performs.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop emailing you. Every update we send includes an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to know what we collect about you. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. To make a request, email founders@runpraxis.ai. We may need to verify your identity before we respond.
Children
Praxis is a business service for law firms. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as Praxis evolves. We will post any changes on this page with a new date.
